Will I become a fossil?

Today my 5 year old asked me "Will I become a fossil some day?" I told her I didn't think so, and she replied... "I think I will." She went on to tell me that she did not want to become a fossil.

Does God have a phone?

Today my 5 year old asked me "Does God has a phone?"... she said she wanted to talk with him and tell him about the things she likes. She was quite disappointed when I explained that God did not have a phone... and I'm not sure she bought into the idea of just talking to him without one.

What language does Santa speak?

Today my four year old asked me, "Mom, does Santa speak every language?" Then she said, "he has to speak every language so he can hear what they are saying."

What did the troll say?

Today my four year old asked me - Mom, in Frozen, what do you think the little troll said? I think that little troll said "he only likes to pee in the woods" hehehe... I just think it's hilarious. I really like when she said "I do not need to know that."

How big are the sharks?

Today my four year old asked me, what size are the sharks in the ocean. Bigger? I want to see the bigger sharks, to see if it is too scary for me.

What happens when we die?

Today my four year old asked if we could find a skeleton for her to touch. She said she wanted to feel the bones, and know what they feel like inside her.

After that conversation, she asked me another interesting question... she asked Mom, who's that Guy with Jesus - the big guy... I said "God" and she said yes. She said can we talk to him? I told her that we could certainly ask him questions, and hopefully he could give us the answers. She then proceeded to ask me what happens when we die, and that she'd like to ask him. She is curious if when we die, he brings us back in another person who is born. She wondered what happens to our bodies when we die... and I explained the options of burial or cremation. She asked which I would choose. I said I hadn't decided yet. She said she definitely did not want to be "fired."

My daughter doesn't want to get old. She doesn't want mommy to get old, or her daddy or sister. She doesn't ever want any of us to die.
